This September marked a significant milestone for Nord Anglia International School New York, affectionately known within its community as NAISNY. Nestled in the vibrant Gramercy neighborhood, the school unveiled its new campus, the result of a summer of dedicated effort and thoughtful planning. The natural light-filled spaces create a calm, stimulating environment designed to inspire students from age 2 through 8th grade.
The campus was designed to enhance the student experience. Additional windows, upgraded facilities and expanded amenities, including more bathrooms, support NAISNY’s diverse and growing community. The attention to creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere has not gone unnoticed, with parents and students expressing their appreciation for the new learning spaces.
On September 12, the NAISNY community gathered to celebrate this exciting new beginning. The grand opening was highlighted by a red ribbon-cutting ceremony that saw students performing for an esteemed audience, including VIP guests from the UK Mission to the UN, British Consulate General, and the St. George’s Society. The presence of students and families made the event truly special. Under a warm September sun, the NAISNY ice cream truck added a sweet touch to the day.
For 13 years, NAISNY has nurtured young minds at its former location on the Lower East Side. The new Gramercy campus opens a fresh chapter, while preserving its strong sense of community, and the grand opening was a testament to this spirit. For the past 13 years, the school has been nurturing young minds on the Lower East Side, and this new campus marks a new chapter in its journey. The event underscored the warmth and close-knit nature of the NAISNY family, with everyone coming together to celebrate this occasion.
NAISNY combines truly personalized learning with the strength of a community—so each student expert teachers tailor learning to each student’s interests and goals, while exclusive collaborations with MIT, Juilliard, IMG Academy, and UNICEF spark their creativity, global awareness, and a strong sense of purpose.
The result? Confident, curious learners who are inspired to think big, act boldly, and make their mark on the world.
This begins with truly understanding your child—not just how they learn, but what drives and excites them. Whether tackling real-world challenges, performing on stage, or collaborating on global projects, every experience builds the skills, confidence, and mindset to shape a future that’s uniquely their own.
We’re excited for the journey ahead and look forward to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow. And follow their achievements.
